All basketbnll sames in Gisborne were ! postponed on Saturday owing- to the wet weather. . \ The monthly meeting of the executive was held during tho afternoon, Mrs. P. Beale presiding over the following delegates: Miss M. McCallum, referees. Miss E. Clarke, H.5.0.G., Miss P. Baskiville, Tuis, Miss N. Hayes, High School, Miss P. Cleary* St. Mary’s, Miss V. Masemann, match secretary, Miss V. Johnson, hon. secretary, Mrs. J. Webster, Council of Sport. A vote ols thanks was passed to all who helped to make the King’s Birthday tournament such a success. Mrs. Beale congratu-
lated the concert committee and all who helped to make the concert held recently a great success. The Henderson Shield tournament will be held on July 28, entries to be in by July 7. St. Mary’s were granted permission to travel to Rotorua in August, and their B team tc Hastings. Miss Vera Masemann was elected to travel to Christchurch with the representative team hi August to act as official delegate to the New Zealand council meeting. It was decided to send Miss Nell Miller, the coach, with the team.
