£7,000,000 GOLD HOARD
FIND IN GERMANY (10 a.m.) LONDON, June 29. American troops found gold valued at £7,000,000, weighing 4 1 tons, in a burgomaster’s house at Badgastein, says Reuter’s correspondent with the Seventh Army. The gold, which was originally hidden under von Ribbentrop’s estate, was moved as the Americans advanced.
