Sir,—-The Labour Party condemns Mr. Morton as a comedian. It is a poor heart that never rejoices, and political meetings would brighten up a lot if speakers could make to joke occasionally. It takes a good man to put fun across and make his point, and to those who had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Morton, complaint sounds like sour (trapes. Mr. Morton’s wit salted some heavy broadsides against the shortages and monopolies created by Government ineompetencraml the interference with peoples' lives and occupations, and the Labour Party would do well to urge its friends to mend their faults before it is too Iate.—CITIZEN.
