large entries Although the weather was overcast, entiles for the Onoho Collie Club’s seventh annual dog trials, held on Opoho station, exceeded those of last year’s meeting. For the four plain classes 158 entries were received, compared with 108 last year. The meeting proved most, successful, tlie events being keenly contested. The president, Mr. G. D. Taylor, thanked the judges for their services and also ixiiiited out the work the club was doing to help the local returned men in securing (logs to resume their work.
