OVER 1000 NAZI PLANES (British Official Wireless.) '(11 a.m.) RUGBY, Nov. 23. The Admiralty states that a total of 1085 enemy aircraft are known to have been destroyed by the anti-air-craft fire of His Majesty’s ships and defensively equipped merchant vessels or in combat with aircraft of the Fleet Air Arm during the past 3i years. This shows an Increase of 81 since July.
