FOCKE-WULF FACTORIES U.S. RAID ON PRUSSIA ill a.m.' LONDON. Oct. 15. The huge Focke-Wulf assembly plant at -Marienburg and the aircraft components factory at Anklam were both knocked out. That is the conclusion of headquarters of the United States Air Force ’Eighth Bomber Command after studying the assessment reports on tnc damage based on reconnaissance photographs. The reports list 12 major ancl 17 minor buildings demolished, gutted or severely damaged during the raid last Saturday on ' the Marienburg plant, while the component factory at Atildcim had of the key machinery and ’ sub-assembly shops, stores and offices destroyed ancl other buildings heavily damaged. The Marienburg plant was responsible for almost half the entire assembly of Focke-Wulfs.
