CREW LAND SAFELY

PLANE ABANDONED MOTORISTS KILLED (9-a.m.) LONDON, July 20. A Rbyal Air Force plane which was abandoned in mid-air. by its cig.*V over Anglesey after catching lire, struck a car near Holyhead in which a local doctor, his wife and mother-in-law were travelling. The two women were fatally injured, and the doctor, who was seriously injured, died later in hospital. The plane’s -crew baled out and landed safely.
