SATURDAY’S GAMES Very evenly-contested games were played in the Poverty Bay Hockey Association’s competitions on The Childers Road Reserve on Saturday, when hr the women’s section the young Amazon team defeated the more experienced Kin Toa by three goals to one, the latter being ’outplayed throughout the' game. Waituhi defeated Nurses by three goals to nil, birt the latter team had greatly improved and wore unfortunate in not netting on many occasions. In the men’s section, Air Force and Waituhi played a drawn game, two goals each, neither team being up to full strength. High School easily defeated Foresters B by 13 goals to nil.
