MR. JAMES GARCIA NOTED SPORTING FIGURE (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 19. The death of 'Mr. 'James Garcia, aged 65 years, who 1 ' fori 34 years was a member of the literary staff of the Taranaki Daily New;, occurred at New Plymouth- on Saturday. •Mr.' Garcia was ' widely known in boxing circles is president of the Taranaki Boxing Association and also was a member of the management committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union, vice-president of the Taranaki Agricultural Society; a member of the Taranaki Education Board, and president of the North Island School Committees.
