RETAIL SALE OF PORK
PROHIBITION EXTENDED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 17. It was announced yesterday by the rationing controller. Mr. J. E. Thomas, that owing to the continued shortage of pig meats required to meet essentia! demands, the period of prohibition on the retail sale of pork has been extended from July 10 to September 30.
