CORPORAL J. A. GLOVER, M.M., whose name appeared in a recent list of military awards, is the youngest soil of Mr. and Mrs. J. Glover, Bright street. He won his Military Medal in the final stages of the North African campaign, when the Axis forces were penned up in the Tunisian tip. Born in Worthing, Sussex, England, in 1914, he was brought to New Zealand with his parents the same year. Educated in Gisborne, he was employed later as a surfaceman for the Cook County Council in the Waerenga-o-kuri district.
