GESTAPO AGENTS

POSING AS BRITONS QUEST FOR INFORMERS PEOPLE AIDING ALLIES LONDON, July G. A _ Gestapo agent, disguised as a British parachutist, is attempting to seek out Allied sympathisers in Nazioccupied Europe. The man calls himself Billy Frank, but his real name is Dc Zitter. He is chief of a number of German agents who have been recently distributed throughout France and Belgium, states a Lisbon report. These agents are attempting to discover the methods whereby anti-Axis and underground organisations give information to the Allies. De Zitter’s method is to enter people’s houses and ask for aid and shelter, and remain until he finds the names of the people who help the Allies. Warnings against the operations of these agents are being' passed through underground channels in all parts of occupied Europe.
