DESPATCHES TO TROOPS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 12. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. P. C. Webb, regrets to announce the loss bv enemy action of letter mails from New Zealand to the- New Zealand forces in the Middle East despatched in February. The mail consisted of 25 bags of letters of a total weight of 15281 b. The approximate dates of posting were: Northern districts, air-maii letters, February 2 to 10; surface let- 1 * tors January 31 to February 6; Wellington. Wanganui, Hawke’s Bay and South Is’-mid districts, air-mail, February 3 to 8: surface mail, January 27 to February 5 inclusive.
