Mrs . l’oxRogers, Gisborne, and the late Mr. Alexunder Lane and grand-daughter of the late Colonel Lane, Christchurch, to Hugh John, son of Mrs: F. Owen, St Stephen s avenue. Auckland, and the late Dr. HOgh Owen. . The ceremony -was ■ performed by Captain Templer, padre of the No. 2 New Zealand General Hospital. After the ceremony a small ' retoptioiv wan hold at the hotel at Ismailir..' v „ , , . in4l Prior to leaving Now Zealand in IvAl as* a member ‘of the V.A.D. branch of the Women’s War Service Auxiliary, the bride was a well-known member of Gisborne s younger set. She is at present on the stun of the No. 2 New Zealand General Hospital.
