While current man-power reorganisation has affected the calling "up o t men drawn in recent ballots, Grade 1 men betweon the ages' of 21 and 40 who are eligible for 1 overseas service are liable‘to bo Called up for Service in' the near future; - 1 1 " :l -<• This - applies particularly to single men and married men without children, and ; possibly to riiarried iheU with one child. The aim 1 of-the army is to send these men overseas before Calling on the married men with larger'family iespoiisibilities. ' • In the meantime,'tliefe has been, no move toward calling up tlie'nifeh from 41 to Id; 1 whose names appeared in-the last ballot. The niain concern of the army authorities is to maintain the overseas reinforcement -strength, out of Grade 1 men available.’ For that reason- the general l 'policy is not to man-power Grade .1 mien out of the MTiriy.
