U.S. NEGRO GENERAL
SERVICE IN BRITAIN INSPECTION OF TROOPS (British Official Wireless.) (2 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 28. The ohly negro general in the United States army, Brigadier-General Benjamin O. Dacis, has arrived in England for duty. He joined the army in 1898 and served throughout the Spanish-American war and the last war. He is engaged on an inspection trip during which he will give special attention to negro troops.
