FARMERS' APPLICATIONS GISBORNE APPEAL BOARD Further applications by farmers for the release'from camp of their employees for essential work were heard by the Gisborne Armed ‘Forces Appeal Board to-day/ One appeal which'was not lodged by a farmer,was,.however, connected With farm-work: Mr. F. R. Ball presided, with him being Messrs.. J. E. Benson and C..E. Bickford. ‘" c In support of an application ffir- the release from camp-of R. -H.-jGray, plasterer, lodged by R. C. Otway, Mr. K. A.; Woodward said the. appellant’s work (was- considerably, in arrears and he required the reservist’s release to help him out.
