[/ ’ 're ---rl !•') This Dominion-wide appeal has been conducted-’ by the National Patriotic .Fund Board through the pro-vincial^.patriotic-councils, and the East Coas; -Brpyihpial -Patriotic Council has been pushing the sale of the coupons in its territory. Yesterday High School pupils undertook a house-to-house canvass and sold coupons to the value of £l7O 14s 7d. •
Thisjevpriing there will be a parade through town by the Gisborne squadron of the Air Training Corps from the Chief Ropt Qfijpe,atp. the town clock, commencing at 7.15 o clock. The Air Training Corps will be accom-panied'-'by •the’ Caledonian Band, and the parade will l terftriljack'i from the clock to an assembly point near the intersection of Peel street and Glad-stone-Voad; where the-Mayor,-Mr. N.
