LINES OF VEGETABLES CERTAIN PERIODS OF YEAR (l’.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Price Tribunal lias iixed “ceiling’' wholesale and retail prices for certain lines of vegetables. During the period-of operation of ceiling prices—the period to be deter mined by the circumstances —the prescribed prices must not be exceeded. The maximum retail prices for the North Island are: Carrots, Bid per lb.; parsnips, old per lb.; pumpkins, 4d per lb.; kumeras, per lb.; turnips, 2d per lb.; swedes, 2d per lb. For elsewhere than the North Island, they are: Carrots, 8d per lb.; parsnips, iid per lb.; pumpkins, Id,per lb.; kumeras, sid per lb.; turnips, .Lid per lb; swedes, l|d per lb.
