Mr. and Mrs. R. Hitchings, who have been visiting Mr, and Mrs. C. R. Otte, have returned to Levin.—Miss J. Otte, who has been spending a few days’ holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Otte, has returned to Wairoa to continue nursing.—Mrs. E. Wigmore is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Healy. Ormond road.—Mr. nnd Mrs. Frank Clark, Hakuranga station, who have been visiting Gisborne, have returned home.—Private Joseph Kerr, who was home on leave, has returned to camp.—Mr. Walter Irving, of the start of the Gisborne Post Office, is relieving Miss M. Boyce, who is on annual A combined patriotic concert given by the Waipiro Awhina Committee and Whareponßti Marae Committee in the Te Puia Hall on Friday evening was a great success, £2l being raised for patriotic purposes.
