Young, which will be pref sented to the annual meeting of the Nuhaka A. and P. Society. During the year, continues the report, Messrs! R. Taylor and J. Joblin went overseas and, possibly, other members, too. The society’s sympathy with the of members whose names have appeared in the casualty lists is expressed. “Our overdraft at the bank is £97 9s 3d, and a special meeting will bd held on September 3 to pass a resolution to empower the society to borrow as occasion requires. It was discussed at our last committee meeting, when one member suggested that the debt be liquidated by the elTorts of the members, and he was prepared to give generous support himself towards this end.”
During the year the society was very unfortunate in having lost by death the hon. auditor and previous secretary. Mr. K. B. Crombie, and a vice-president, Mr. W.- TaiL-The* membership stands at 146 members, two honorary, and three life members.
