CHRISTIAN ORDER WORK EFFORTS IN CHURCHES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this clay. Means by which the Oxford Group, through its membership of churches, could further assist the campaign for Christian order, were discussed at the conference of leaders of the movement in Wellington during the weekend. Delegates reported that group members were co-operating in the work of regional and area committees, making an active contribution through the churches and organisations to which they belonged. An increasingly heavy responsibility was imposed on the remaining members of the group because service in the armed forces had withdrawn practically all the younger leaders.
