JAP. BASE IN BURMA
(British Official Wireless.) (2.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 7. A Royal Air Force communique from New Delhi states that to-day the Royal Air Force attacked a small Japanese-occupied town north of Homalin. High explosive bombs were dropped and buildings were set on fire and other targets were machinegunned. All the planes returned safely. '
