NAVAL CASUALTIES

NEW ZEALAND RATINGS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following naval casualties were reported to-day:— Temp. Sub-Lieut. (A) John Allnitt Pickard, missing. His father is Mr. J. Pickard, Invercargill. Cook Daniel Munro, died. His mother is Mrs. M. Munro, Tarakohe, Nelson. The following reclassifications are also announced: Previously Reported Missing, Now Presumed Dead Acting Leading Telegraphist William Hi Smith. His wife is Mrs. Irene Smith, Devonport. Able Seaman Frederick C. Blake. His wife is Mrs. Olive Blake, Auckland.
