TOO MUCH WEIGHT

CRACK N.Z. HORSES TRAINER’S COMPLAINT (2 p.m.) SYDNEY. June 29. F. McGrath, the trainer of Beau Vite, said his horse and Kindergarten were harshly handicapped in the Cnulfield and Melbourne Cups. “If there is a good three-year-old about, neither of them will have a chance in the Melbourne Cup,” he said. “I think the handieappers make a big mistake in asking good horses to carry such big weights over long journeys.” McGrath considers that Beau Vite is better off than Kindergarten and said he djd not expect Kindergarten would be asked to give Beau Vite weight.
