TANK DESTRUCTION
TRAINING IN METHODS AUSTRALIAN FORCES (2.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 29. Australian soldiers are receiving Special instruction in tank destruction methods from instructors who have just returned from the Middle East. Foremost among the anti-tank weapons is the flame fougasse. This is a fohn of mine which, when exploded by hand control, hurls the contents of a drum of blazing bitumen, Diesel oil and petrol over the tank. It is the newest and devastating version of. the Molotov cocktail. A variant of the flame fougasse in the demi-gasse which exploded in the path Of the tank instead of being projected over it.
