GIBRALTAR FORTRESS ITAUANS DRIVEN OFF TREMENDOUS BARRAGE (By Telegraph—Bresa Assn. —Copyright'.) (10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 29. Under the full moon Italian aircraft raided Gibraltar early to-day. They were met with a tremendous barrage from the fortress, supplemented by anti-aircraft guns from the naval ships in the harbour. No bombs were dropped on the town. A few fell outside the town but did no damage and caused no casualties. The gunfire soon drove off the raiders, The attack lasted for 30 minutes. The Berlin radio requoted a message from .La Linea saying that despite heavy anti-aircraft fire, Gibraltar aerodrome was attacked last night. Aircraft on the ground were destroyed. Fires were observed from La Linea and Algeciras.
