AUSTRALIAN MINISTER POST-WAR FOOD RELIEF (9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 29. The special Australian Minister in London, Sir Earle Page, arrived in New York by air from London. He expects tovspend a week in Washington discussing plans for post-war food relief and reconstruction, after which he will make a fortnight’s tour of American war industries. He declared that Australia is taking an active part in the direction of the war and the conduct of strategy in both London and Washington. Sir Earle Page was enthusiastic regarding the British war spirit and said that production was steadily increasing.
