JUDGE APPOINTED TO POST (11 a.m.) CANBERRA, April. 19. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. Curtin, announced the appointment of Sir Owen Dixon, a Justice of the High Court, as envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary for the Commonwealth of Australia to the United States in succession to Mr. R. O. Casey.
