FIVE PRESUMED DEAD

DOMINION AIRMEN TWO POSTED MISSING (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas have been reported as casualties: Pilot-OfTlccr Ernest Anthony Blair, missing as a result of an aircraft accident. His father is Mr. E. Blair, Auckland. Pilot-Officer Peter Duncan McMillan, missing on air operations. His father is Mr. W. J. McMillan, Rangiora. Acting Flight - Lieutenant Everest George Edmunds, previously reported missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed in December, 1941. His father is Mr. E. Edmunds, Wellington. Sergeant Alfred James Higgison, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed as in July, 1941. His mother is Mrs. A. Higgison, Ohakea. Sergeant Joseph Lewis McNamara, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed as in April, 1941. His father is Mr. P. J. McNamara, Putaruru. Sergeant George Desmond Morcom, previously reported missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed as in November, 1941. His wife is Mrs. G. Morcom, Christchurch. Sergeant Desmond William Thane, previously reported missing, believed killed, death now officially presumed as in December, 1941. His father is Mr. E. Thane, Foxton.
