NEW YORK COMMANDERS (9,30 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 13. The Mayor of New York, Mr. F. H. La Guardia, who has been frequently criticised for his handling of civilian defence activities here, announced the appointment of two full-time commanders for the air-raid wardens’ service.
