Aircraftman P. Crarer is spending his leave in Wairoa with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Crarer, Marine parade. , . Mr, J. A. K. Stewart was welcomed at yesterday's meeting of the Wairoa Electri.c.-Power Board. Mr. Stewart is the representative appointed by the Wairoa County Council .At the conclusion of yesterday’s meeting of the Wairoa ElectricPower Board, many members made reference to the unfailing loyalty and efficiency of Mr. B. G. Signall, secretary to the board, who had retired from the position after 21 years’ service. Mr. Signall was presented wfth a leather arm-chair suitably inscribed. The new secretary, Mr. H. H. O’Loughlen, was welcomed by the board.
