POLICE TRANSFERS
GISBORNE AND WAIROA Police transfers covering the Gisborne and Wairoa stations have been announced. Constable R. T. Thom, who has been in Gisborne for the past five years, has been transferred to Whakatane to replace Constable G. Urquhart, formerly of Gisborne, who has been transferred to Tauranga. Constable J. McAlpine, Wairoa, has been transferred to Bulls, Wanganui district. He has been in Wairoa for the past 12 years.
Constable A. McLellan, who has been stationed at Wairoa for some years, has been notified of hi.s transfer to Coromandel.
