Mr. D. A. Mac Lean, inspector of police, Gisborne, returned last night from leave, the greater part of which he spent in the South Island. He was accompanied by Mrs. Mac Lean. Lieutenant-Colonel H. S. Nurse, deputy inspector-general of munitions for the Australian military forces, has arrived on a short visit to New Zealand, states a Press Association message from Auckland.
