INVESTITURE HELD (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An investiture was held at Government House to-day at which His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, presented orders and decorations to the following officers:— C.B.E.—Group-Captain A. Nevill R.N.Z.A.F., Wellington. O.B.E..—Colonel A. E. Conway, New Zealand Staff Corps, Wellington; Major J. G. McKay, Nelson. M.B.E.—Lieut. A. J. Harvey, Royal Navy, Auckland;.Staff-Sergeant-Major J. T. R. Beil, New Plymouth. Air Force Cross. —Squadron-Leaider R. J. Cohen, R.N.Z.A.F., Nelson. Efficiency Decorations.—Majof" E. N. Hogben, Dannevirke; Major F. L. G. McKenzie, Lower HUtt; Major A. M. Mcß Rennie, Wangdnui; Major A. B. Sievwright, Wellington; Major E. H. Whiting, Wellington, and Captain J\ T. McCaw, Wellington.
At the conclusion of the function, the assembled guests were received by Their Excellencies.
