The German news agency Claims that U-boats torpedoed 14 heavilyladen merchantmen in a stronglyescorted convoy bound from England to Gibraltar. "The pursuit lasted six days,” states the German agency. “The greater part of the convoy was destroyed. A British destroyer was sunk.”
