DENIAL OF RUMOUR
TRENTHAM SPRING RACING (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON this day. Rumours have been circulating in both islands about the possibility of the Wellington Racing Club’s spring meeting not beiiiK held, the rumours uo doubt originating from the abandonment of the winter fixture. It was officially stated yesterday that the spring meeting would definitely he held at Trentham on the dates fixed.
