WOMEN CONDUCTORS

There is no likelihood at present cf the Auckland Transport Board having to emnloy women conductors because of a shortage of man-power, as has been suggested in Wellington, accoiding to a statement made by the chairman, Mr. J. Sayegh. So far, said Mr. Sayegh, it fiad proved possible to run the lull system in Auckland perfects satisfactorily, and nothing like he difficulty reported from Wellington had been experienced in Auckland.
