PETROL CONSUMPTION
Consumption of petrol had to be reduced wherever possible, said the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, Mr. E. J. Phelan, at a sitting in Auckland, when applications for renewals and transfers of licenses, and for new licenses were considered. Mr. Phelan emprasised that all applications for new licenses had to be supported by definite evidence.
