TURANGANUI CLUB A further qualifying round for the club championships was played on the Turanganui Golf Club’s Tuoi links on Saturday. Halbert was the winner of the medal round in the men’s section with 04. The best of the men’s scores were N. Halbert. 72; C. Pore, 74; P. Kaua, 78; R. Halbert, 80; A. Ogiivie, 82. In the ladies’ section of the Button Matches Miss Koopu and Mrs. Dolman defeated Mesdames Halbert and Robb. Two games were played in the men's section ol this match, P. Kaua and C. Hume defeating N. Halbert and T. Smiler and also beating G. Butler and R. Ivess. TOIiOMARU BAY CLUB Second round games of the championships were played on the Tokomaru Bay links at ’ the week-end in a high wind.
