DEBATE ON ESTIMATES
SEVEN CLASSES PASSED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The House -of Representatives concentrated on the estimates during yesterday afternoon, and altogether three classes were passed. They were the lands and survey vote of £404,800, land for settlement £449,900, dairy industry account £30,517, and meal industry account £38,536. Altogether during the day the House passed seven classes of the estimates to a total value of £1,981,183. The House rose at 5.30 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday.
