WEEK-END GOLF
PARK CLUB COMPETITIONS A vase test round for which partners are to be arranged at the clubhouse is to be played by the lady members of the Gisborne Park Golf Club this week-end. The winner of the medal round last weekend was Miss M. Haistnan in the B Section, and Mrs. K. Crawford-Smith in the C Section, while in the July Vase Test Mrs. I. Shields was first ia the B Section and Miss P. Gunn won the C Section. Last week-end Miss B. Popple defeated Miss B. White in the McMurray Stars competition, and this week-end the challenger will be Miss J. McMath. Mesdames I. Jackson and E. Dolman will play Misses R. Preston and L. Lyons in the J.K. Stars competition. The first round of the handicap section resulted:—Mrs. Dolman d. ,Miss G. Henderson; Mrs. Jackson d. Miss L. Haisman; Miss M. Haisman d. Miss E. Linton; Miss J. Alley d. Miss G. McKenzie; Mrs. P. Robertson d. Mrs. A. Bayliss; Mrs. 1. Shields won from Miss L. Lyons; Mrs. M. Burr won from Miss N. Popple; Miss D. Coaole d. Miss H. Lane. PATUTAIII CLUB The following is the draw for a medal round to he played on the Patutahi golf links this week-end:— Women.—Mrs. Atcheson, Mrs. M. Angland, and Mrs. Monteith; Mrs. Mcnzies.
