CHIEF TRAFFIC OFFICER

The appointment of Mr. E. H. Barrett, Wellington, as chief traffic officer for the Dunedin Corporation Traffic Department, in succession to Mr. R. J. Avery, is announced. Mr. Barrett was employed in the Auckland City Council traffic office for three years, and was for four years senior inspector of the Main Highways Board and for eight years chief inspector for the Transport Department.
