HOCKEY DRAW
GAMES FOR SATURDAY Games set clown by the Poverty Bay Hockey Association for Saturday have been arranged as follows: Men.—High School v. Waituhi, No. 1 ground, 1.15 p.m., Messrs. C. Burkinshaw and B. Hart; United v. Foresters, No. 1, 3.30 p.m., Messrs. T. Smale and J. Turbitt; Caledonian v. Wesley, No. 2, 3.30 p.m., Messrs. B. Hart and C. Burkinshaw. Women.—Kia Toa v. Awapuni, No. 1 ground, 2.30 p.m., Messrs H. Swan and A. Cassia; Waituhi v. Y.M.P., No. 2, 2.30 p.m., Messrs. T. Smale and G. Graham. Boys.—lntermediate A v. Intermediate B, No. 1 ground, 10.30 a.m., Mr. Simpson; High School B v. Intermediate C, No. 2, 10.30 a.m., Mr. Brownie; High School C. a bye. Girls.—Reds v. Wtiites, No. 1 ground, 11.15 a.m., Mrs. Watts; Blues v. Central, No. 2, 11 15 a.m., Mr. Turbitt. At a meeting of the association on Monday night, mention was made of the action in calling players ' together to stand in silence for a few moments as a mark of respect to those former players who had fallen in battle, and members remarked that the ceremony was a most fitting one.
