COMPETITION GAMES

SATURDAY’S RUGBY DRAW Ordinary competition games will be resumed in both the senior and junior grades, of the competition conducted by the Poverty Bay Rugby Union on Saturday. Next Saturday will mark the last of the junior competition games, only two teams, Marist and Old Boys, being left in the knock-out competition which was recently instituted. Neither the High School A nor B team has taken part in this competition. On Saturday, August 23, a patriotic match is to be played and after that there will be only two more playing ’ Saturdays for the senior teams. The draw for next Saturday is:—Seniors. — Celtic v. Marist, No. 1 ground, 2.45 p.m. Juniors.—Marist v. Old Boys, No. 1, 1.15 p.m. Fourth Grade.—Marist v. Old Boys B, No. 2, 2.45 p.m. ; High School v. Old Boys A, No. 3, 1.15 p.m. Fifth Grade.—Marist v. High School United, No. 2, 1.15 p.m.
