AMUSEMENTS
Regent.—David Selzniek’s production of Margaret Mitchell’s great story, Gone With the Wind,” is drawing large audiences to the Regent. Sessions are, being held twice daily, at 1.30 anc! 7-30 p.m. The box, plan is at the theatre.
Majestic.—Two outstanding attractions are at present screening at the Majestic Theatre. They are “Angels Over Broadway,” a dynamic drama starring Douglas Fairbanks, jun., Rita Hayworth and Thomas Mitchell, and “Blondie Plays Cupid,” an hilarious comedy, with Arthur Lake and Penny Singleton.
King’s.—“ Down Argentine Way” screens finally to-night. Jane Withers' iatest starring film, “Girl From Avenue A,” opens to-morrow together with a return season of “Kentucky,” starring Loretta Young, Richard Greene and Walter Brennan. Plans are filling for “Lady Hamilton,” which opens on Friday.
