FAST FLYING TOUR

> CANADA AND U.S.A. BRITISH AIR OFFICIAL (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1.40 p.m. RUGBY. July 31. The Under-Secretary for Air. Captain H. Balfour, landed yesterday at a North Country airport, having down over from Canada in a bomber aircraft. " Captain Balfour had been out of the country for just three weeks, during which time a flying tour of certain training schools in Canada had been carried out and also a visits paid to .raining establishments in the United States. The tour entailed flying approximately 20,000 miles and the area covered ranged from the Rockies to Nova Scotia and southwards from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. During his time in Canada, Captain Balfour conferred with inembers of the Canadian Government and the Royal Canadian Air Force on matters connected with training in the Dominions. A visit of two days was nade to Washington.
