THREE VICHY OFFICERS DARLAN ORDERS ARREST (Reed. Aug. 1, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. July 31., The Zurich newspaper Volksrecht reports that three high Vichy army officers, General Cochet, of the air force. General Bastion and Colonel Lousteneau Lacan, were arrested by the order of Admiral Darlan. They are outspoken opponents of Franco-German collaboration.
