WOMEN’S REST ROOM

APPROVAL OF PLANS SITE IN READ’S QUAY Plans for a proposed women's rest room, to bo erected between the Plunkct rooms and the Peel street bridge, were approved by the Gisborne Borough Council last night. The plan was submitted to the council by Mix F. 11. Forge, whose drawings showed two main rooms, a rest room and mothers’ room, in addition to the usual conveniences. It would he necessary, it was explained, lo make a test in regard to the founda tions. The council approved of the plan.
