VICTIMS OF FLOODS SHEEP RESTRICTIONS PLEA MADE BY BOARD (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In a discussion with the Minister of Agriculture yesterday, the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board urged that owing to the serious position of farmers in the North Island as a result of the recent widespread flooding reconsideration be given by the Government to the present restrictions on killings of sheep.

The board renewed its representations regarding South Island sheep killings, again stressing the urgent need for relief.
